SUNDAY SEWING SESH...

SEWING

As the glorious warmth of summer draws to an end and cool and crispy autumn rears its head, it's that time of year when Sundays mean one of three things...a roast, a national Trust wander with the cameras, or getting my craft on!

After a week off work, which included a day at the seaside (Lyme Regis in case you're interested!) today felt like a onesie and sewing machine day.

And the result, the ultimate apron for someone who works in the radio industry (or any other part of the music industry for that matter!)

I didn't quite have enough material, well unless 'mini skirt' aprons are your thing, so dug out an old pair of jeans from my recycling stash, and added part of a leg to the bottom. I think it kinds of makes it!

Lots of fun and a simple, quick make, all done in just under 3-hours (OK I wouldn't make the Great British Sewing Bee!). i'd be lying if I said it was an off the top of my head pattern, I used an old apron that has seen better days as a pattern.

Watch out friends, Christmas is coming!
